How do we inspire community action to develop housing that meets the current socioeconomic and demographic profile of the county?
The Affordable Housing workgroup, a small group of housing stakeholders, developed the Affordable Housing Action Plan. The workgroup also secured local technical assistance from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. This assistance, anticipated to last 12-18 months beginning in January 2016, will drive the data collection and alignment objectives outlined in the action plan below.

Outcome Objective 1: By December 31, 2018, create a strategic plan that results in the development of initiatives to address Affordable Housing.
Impact Objective 1.1: By December 31, 2016, complete county-wide assessment to identify affordable housing issues, resources, and initiatives to address them.
